How to use a voltage regulator?

1. Firstly, based on the power of the purchased voltage regulator, it can be calculated at 0.75 square millimeters per kilowatt. Suitable wires should be selected to connect the input and output of the voltage regulator (note: during installation, the wiring should be strictly marked according to the voltage regulator's wiring, and cannot be omitted or connected incorrectly. Special attention should be paid to not reversing the live and neutral wires, not mixing the zero and ground wires, and not omitting the ground and neutral wires). Turn on the voltage regulator switch, and the output voltage meter on the panel should indicate 220V. At the same time, the power indicator light on the panel is on, indicating that the voltage regulator is working normally. If you need to adjust the voltage, please adjust the machine circuit board voltage regulator. Adjust the output voltage clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to decrease (please turn off the load when adjusting).

2. Safety device for voltage regulator:

Voltage regulators below 3KVA use fuses for overload or short circuit protection, while AC voltage regulators above 5KVA use small circuit breakers or small air switches for overload or short circuit protection. When the voltage regulator is in operation, if the fuse blows or the automatic air circuit breaker trips, the load and voltage regulator should be shut down and checked.

3. Overvoltage protection of voltage regulator:

When the output voltage exceeds the protection value of the voltage regulator (the phase voltage protection value is adjusted to 250V ± 5V at the factory), the voltage regulator automatically protects, reduces or cuts off the output voltage of the voltage regulator, and at the same time, the overvoltage indicator light is on. The user should immediately shut down and check the grid voltage or voltage regulator. When the voltage regulator is in operation, if there is a jitter in the output voltage, it may be due to capacitive or inductive loads being too heavy. Users can adjust the gear of the switch on the circuit board inside the chassis to eliminate the jitter phenomenon (please turn off the load when adjusting). When the machine leaves the factory, the switch is in a normal state, and users should not move it without authorization. If the jitter phenomenon cannot be eliminated, it may be caused by excessive internal resistance of the input power grid line or severe waveform distortion. Please check the wire diameter and connection point quality of the power grid line and solve the problem.
If the voltage regulator remains in an overvoltage protection state after startup, please check whether the voltage regulator is adjusted properly and whether the grid voltage exceeds the normal working voltage range of the voltage regulator. Close the voltage regulator switch, stabilize the output voltage, then turn on the electrical equipment, shut down and follow the reverse program
